Slow Luxury presents: Iona Crawford “Beauty and the Beasts Capsule Collection” Interactive Launch Performance, Bryant Park, New York

“This Spring, THE KELPIES, 20 ft. massive silver steely horse heads sit powerfully in the middle of New York City, in Bryant Park. Maquettes of the famed 100 ft. high sculptures in Scotland, sculpted by Andy Scott, these beasts meet silky, ethereal Scottish damsels, bearing gifts of Spring in the IONA CRAWFORD CAPSULE BEAUTY AND THE BEASTS CAPSULE COLLECTION LAUNCH…all during lunchtime on April 8th 2014 at 1.00pm.

An interactive performance will include live music from Scottish singer songwriter, HANNAH READ.


BQ Scottish Export Awards, Glasgow Science Centre, 28th May 2014

Slow Luxury Co-Founder, Fiona Fraser, is a member of the judging panel , chaired by The Rt Hon Brian Wilson, Chairman of Harris Tweed Hebrides, for the inaugural BQ Scottish Export Awards.  Celebrating international trade achievements across all sectors, the Awards recognise the importance of export and international trade to the Scottish economy.


Business Women Scotland presents: “Have You Thought About Selling Your Business into the International Market?”

Held in Society M, the business club in Citizen M Hotel, Glasgow, Business Women Scotland hosted an event in February 2014, in conjunction with Scottish Enterprise, where Slow Luxury Co-founder, Fiona Fraser, shared her journey into international luxury trade.  Fiona talked about Slow Luxury and her experience of using sustainable messaging, storytelling and collaboration to drive luxury business development.

Held in NYC’s most elite private membership club, Jade Dressler concepted and produced the event featuring luxury expert moderator Susan Tabak, with guests, Chopard President and Chief Executive Officer, Marc Hruschka; “Nutritionist to the Stars,” Oz Garcia; Editor-in-Chief of Departures magazine, Richard David Story;The King of Luxury Travel,” Bill Fischer, and Slow Luxury business colleague, John Favreau.


Gleneagles hosts the “Scotland Slow Luxury Round-table”

In August 2012, Textiles Scotland’s Stewart Roxburgh, senior executive at Scottish Enterprise and Slow Luxury presented the first Slow Luxury Round Table at Gleneagles Resort in Perthshire, Scotland. Manufacturers included Hawick Cashmere, Begg Cashmere, Eribe and Johnstons of Elgin. International journalists attended and coverage included features in Forbes;; Huffington Post Style, along with commentary from celebrity and destination wedding event planner, David Beahm.


The Luxury Marketing Council presents “The Luxury of Wellness”

Luxury Marketing Council’s Founder and Chairman, Greg Furman, invited Jade Dressler to co-produce a panel of experts including: Michelle Barge; luxury wellness consultant and ”Nutritionist to the Stars,” Oz Garcia.


Metropolis magazine and Kiwi Arts sponsor “99% Art in the Public Realm: A Tool for Social Change”

Jade Dressler produced and moderated this panel event during FRIEZE NY Art Week. Speakers included Lina Srivastava, noted Transmedia speaker; Renata Lopes-Merriam, The Daily Beast/Newsweek; Serena Saitas, marketing expert; Nicolas Coblence, luxury expert and Jonathan Porcelli, Executive Producer, Director.


BOOMSPDESIGN Conference in Sao Paulo, Brazil. invited speaker, Jade Dressler

Joining notable, international presenters from designers, Karim Rashid, Dror and Friends With You to architects Chad Oppenheimer, Jade Dressler spoke about her commission to create an urban art installation during Milan’s Salone de Mobile at the invitation of Green Island and the City, entitled “Green Provocateur.”
